Hosting

Looking for somewhere to put your finished web site?

ISP Web space

Many internet service providers give their members free Web space for their personal sites. Check your ISP's web site to find out what is available and how to access it. If you use AOL then try going to AOL Keyword: FTP.

Other Free Web space

You can also use external Web space, independent of your ISP. This has the advantage of your site staying in the same place if you need to move ISP at a later stage.

:: Geocities

Geocities is the Web space division of Yahoo!
Packed with features, the main drawback being the advertising that is pasted onto your site and the lack of FTP support.

:: Tripod

Lycos' Tripod service is virtually identical to Geocities in the service provided. You can use your own HTML combined with their wide range of tools to create a solid site, again with banner advertising.

:: *blogspot

Not strictly Web space but works with a Blogger account to provide you with somewhere to host a journal.

Paid Hosts

If you are looking for professional hosting services without the problem of banner advertising or pop up advertising and with support available you could do worse than pay for some Web space

:: pair

This site is hosted with pair. They offer value packages as well as much more complicated packages.
Some others you may want to have a look at though are;

:: 34sp

:: openhosting

:: dsvr

:: kda
